The Parish Council boundaries extend further than the Haydon Wick Borough Council Ward boundaries. The Parish is over 7,000 properties in size and the Ward covers around 4,400.

Parishioners are welcome to attend any Parish Council meeting which are held the third Tuesday of each month. The Council Office is open to Parishioners Monday - Friday from 9.00am to 4.00pm.

The next election is in 2011.
There are 18 seats on the Parish Council. The Parish wards are:
Haydon End Ward (Polling district AM3) - 4 councillors
Haydon Wick Ward (Polling Districts HW 2/3/4/5) -13 councillors
Ray Ward (Polling District MD1) - 1 councillor
