These days most of us enjoy the benefits that owning and using a mobile phone brings. At the same time, we are unhappy if we cannot get a signal or if the coverage is poor.
However, when a planning application is submitted to the local authority by an operator to site a mast near where we or our children live, work or play, then the matter becomes very contentious and concerning.
If we receive notification that an application might be or is going to be submitted, we will contact residents in the locality to seek their views and respond to the mobile phone company with our findings.
