Haydon Wick Conservatives. More Action Less Talk -Abbey Meads Est, Haydonleigh, Greenmeadow

Pledge

Haydon Wick Conservative Councillors' Pledge

We are a "Can Do" team working for all residents seven days a week. We are here to help, work for and represent all those in the Ward whether you voted for us or not.

When we attend Council meetings, we are there to promote the interests of Swindon as a whole as well as those of the people of Haydon Wick.

We will make ourselves available for residents of Haydon Wick Ward to contact us in a variety of ways. We will do this by holding a monthly advice surgery, coffee mornings in sheltered schemes and publish our contact details as widely as possible. We will also hold public meetings when there are issues that we believe our electorate will want to discuss with both ourselves and any relevant agencies.

When residents contact us about an issue, our minimum standard will be for at least one of us to aim to acknowledge the enquiry within 48 hours. As a general rule the sooner a resident contacts us about an issue the easier it is to resolve. We will then work for the outcome that the resident is seeking. In many cases, we are able to achieve this, however, there are occasions when we are unable to and, then, we will explain the reasons why. Some issues can be resolved quickly, others, such as Highways matters, can take a long time. In the latter case, we will keep working on them.

We will provide regular updates about all our work on our popular community web site www.haydonwickintouch.com .
